ISLAMIC, Persia (Post-Seljuk). Salghurids. Qutlugh Khan, AH 623-658 / AD 1226-1260. Fals (Lead, 23 mm, 13.40 g), citing Qutlugh Khan as 'Atabeg Abu Bakr' in Arabic, without mint name, but very probably manufactured on the island of al-Bahrayn, without date. Album C1928. Extremely rare and unusually heavy. Struck somewhat off center and with minor corrosion, otherwise, good fine.
